Vocational Training Council (VTC)
VTC aims to provide and promote a cost-effective and comprehensive system of vocational education and training to meet the needs of the economy. In particular, VTC -
- trains and supplies the manpower for the industry, namely fashion designers, technologists, merchandisers, visual designers and retail supervisors, fashion image consultants, magazine stylists, beauty or hair stylists, and visual style merchandisers; and
- serves the local SMEs through the "Apparel Product Design & Development Centre" (APDDC), which aims at raising the design standards, promoting fashion technology, offering quality design solution in apparel product design and development as well as helping SMEs to diversify their business and to increase competitiveness in the world market.
